FSG BUILDS FOR GROWTH WITH SEVEN NEW RECRUITS

Seven new employees have been recruited by Fleet Support Group as the UK’s largest independent fleet management company reinforces its operational teams to meet future growth plans.

FSG has more than 50,000 cars, vans and trucks on its books and as well as seeing increasing demand from public and private sector fleets for its range of fleet management services there is also significant interest in its multi award-winning online occupational road risk management programme RiskMaster.

FSG Chairman and founder Geoffrey Bray said: “The economic climate has promoted some organisations, including many in the fleet industry, to cut jobs, halt research and development programmes and pull back from funding expansion opportunities.

“We have not, which is why we have recruited seven more full-time staff and will soon be launching an updated version of RiskMaster. We are investing and building for the future.””

He added: “Some fleets opted to maintain the status quo during the recession, but they are now moving into the marketplace and looking for help in reassessing their fleet options.

“FSG’s growth from day one has been built around delivering first-class customer service and value for money to clients. We have proven fleet and risk management tools that eliminate cost and that ensures that we are continuing to grow the business.”

The new recruits are: Rebecca Berni, Sarah Hudd, Louise Pounder and Michael Howarth (all Customer Service Advisors in FSG’s Maintenance Division); Gordon Dance (Authorisations Controller in the Maintenance Division), Tony Wroe (First Response Claims Handler, Accident Management Division) and Charlene Kennedy (Receptionist).

The seven new employees, who all started work recently at the Chippenham-based company, are in addition to the recent recruitment of John Deane, who rejoined FSG as Business Development Manager, and Malcolm Wynd, who has become the company’s vehicle funding consultant, and between them have almost 45 years leasing and fleet management expertise.

Existing FSG customers include: Dun & Bradstreet, Molson Coors, Travis Perkins, NATS, The Labour Party and WHSmith.
