Since its inception in 1987, Fleet Support Group has developed its own IT systems to provide an effective service to its customers. In 1990, in co-operation with Dun & Bradstreet, FSG developed an EDI accounting protocol that produced an efficient electronic payment process between the two organisations.

FSG also identified that the worldwide web would dramatically alter the way organisations traded and consequently has been at the forefront of development in this area. FSG Interactive is available to the fleet manager, the Driver Portal has been developed for the company vehicle driver and the supplier network has Masterserve Interactive.
