Masterview

Fleet Support Group took another step with online communications and introduced real-time video links into approximately half of its Masterserve chain.

This allows Fleet Support Group operators to see online and in real time what is actually taking place in the workshop. This removes any ambiguity and ensures that, when decisions are taken, video images are available as part of the audit trail supporting any expenditure.

This service is branded as Masterview.

Healthchecks

Extended service intervals are creating serious problems for fleet managers and drivers alike.

Fleet Support Group offers an Annual Vehicle Healthcheck through our nationwide network of Masterserve approved outlets which, combined with the recommended service, ensures that vehicles are rigorously inspected and any faults brought to light and corrected.

Our 32-point checklist takes 2 hours and covers everything from engine oil levels through to tyre tread depths and bodywork condition. It is provided as a paperwork process in parallel with our website.

Independent supplier network

Fleet Support Group has always seen its suppliers as having a key role in the successful provision of maintenance and related garage services to the motorist and the fleet manager.

Fleet Support Group argued in 1987 that in choosing professional independent garages there were financial and service benefits to be gained. The strategy to form partnerships with these suppliers proved to be a commercially prudent one which has been vindicated by the removal of block exemption.

Although all suppliers are monitored as a matter of course, Fleet Support Group demands an even higher standard and level of service from its own Masterserve network.

Strict membership processes are applied and, once approved, garages are allowed to display the Masterserve identity.

Masterserve is a brand that is synonymous with best practice, quality, reliability and professionalism both inside and outside the industry. It demonstrates that the supplier is not only technically competent but has also embraced new management processes such as the Masterview remote visual verification system.
